Amanda Tapping Directing Season 3 Finale of Anne with an E & Stargate Tweet Storm Update

Amanda Tapping has directed another episode of season three of Anne with an E. ‘The Better Feeling of My Heart’ wraps the season and is the fourth episode of the series Amanda has directed. Currently, there is no news yet on whether Anne with an E will be renewed for a fourth season.
Update November 25: Sadly, season 3 is the final season of the series as just was announced on social media.

Joseph Malozzi has announced the time for the upcoming Stargate tweet storm: Friday, December 6th at 21:00 EST, 18:00 PST. This site will join the tweet storm. Our twitter is @ATfans_net.

Amanda in a Video for a DGC Campaign & Stargate Tweetstorm

Amanda Tapping had a small appearance in a video for DGC’s Just Watch Us campaign back in September of this year. I hadn’t seen it previously, so I’m only sharing it now.

The DGC (Directors Guild of Canada) is a national labour organization of which Amanda has been a member for a few years. It represents personnel in the screen-based industry, including directors and producers. Just Watch Us is a campaign promoting BC (British Columbia) directors. Their website has a list of directors, allowing visitors to search and filter for criteria like experience, genre, language or production types. Currently, there are 64 directors listed. Amanda’s profile is here.

Stargate fans will remember the Stargate tweetstorm of March 2018, initiated by Joseph Mallozzi, writer and executive producer in all three Stargate series. #StargateRising did trend with over 100’00 tweets and several of the cast and crew members, including Amanda, joined the twitter storm.
Joseph Mallozzi has recently announced another tweetstorm on his blog. It will take place on the 6th of December.

Pages for Four Old Acting Projects Added

Hello everyone!

I’ve added pages for the movies The Donor, Net Worth and Blacktop as well as the series Street Legal.

It’s always tricky to find footage of old movies and series she’s done. If anyone has videos or DVDs of any of the projects in front of the camera for which I haven’t added pages yet, feel free to contact us and share.

Amanda has only very short appearances on Net Worth and Street Legal. In Blacktop, she has one scene and in The Donor three.

Beyond the Gate video with Amanda Tapping

Fans who own the UK version of the Stargate SG-1 DVDs, will know the featurette ‘Beyond the Gate: A Convention Experience with Amanda Tapping’ from Volume 40. Those who haven’t seen it have now the opportunity to do so as Stargate Command has uploaded it to YouTube.

Amanda talks about the experience of attending conventions and meeting fans and it’s heartwarming and touching. You can feel the love she has for her fans and the gratitude she feels. Really, if you haven’t had the chance to meet Amanda yet, try to attend a convention to do so. She’s absolutely wonderful.

Amanda Tapping directing season 3 of Anne with an E

Amanda Tapping directed episode number eight of season 3 of the series Anne with an E. The episode aired last Sunday on CBC. International viewers will be able to see it on Netflix where the new season will be released on January 3, 2020.

Anne with an E is an adaptation by Moira Walley-Beckett of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s novel. The third season of the Canadian series continues to deviate from the original stories while covering topics like feminism, bullying, racism and identity throughout its ten episodes.

‘Great and Sudden Change’ was written by Jane Maggs and it is the third episode of Anne with an E that Amanda has directed, after ‘Wherever You Are Is My Home’ (1×07) and ‘Struggling Against the Perception of Facts’ (2×08).

Games, Polls, Website Translation and Amanda Tapping’s Filmography

Hello everyone!

I’ve been working on the website these past days:
There is now a page ‘Games‘ where you can find memory and word search games. I will expand it, over time.
I’ve added a page with polls. I’m curious and would like to know more about who visits this website and hope that you participate.
The website is now available in a few other languages, namely Czech, French, German, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The translation is made by google translate, primarily. I have however native speakers working on improving google’s automatic translation. It will presumably take 2-3 more weeks until that process is finished.
I’ve also complemented Amanda’s filmography in front of the camera and in theatre.

There are no updates on Amanda Tapping, currently.
I don’t know whether she’s still working on Supernatural and Sabrina or on any other directing or acting gigs, nor do I know which episodes she directed. For Supernatural I only know that it’s not any of the first six episodes. Same for Anne with an E. We will keep you updated.
On a related note, if you haven’t yet seen the trailer for Motherland: Fort Salem, watch it here. It looks like a very interesting series. Motherland will come to @FreeformTV in Spring 2020. Amanda directed the third episode.
