Amanda Tapping to Direct a Feature Film

Amanda will be directing the feature film Home(less) by Trembling Vøid Studios. The movie explores the experiences of youth who have been in foster care and the topic of homelessness, based on the experience of Chance Kingsmyth, a former youth in care.

The first movie Amanda directed was Family for Christmas, a Christmas movie, in 2015. The short Reel Women Seen, which highlighted the adversity women in screen-based media face, followed the year after. With Home(less) she’s tackling yet another genre. We’re looking forward to the film!
